Hello all. I have great pleasure in launching this blog site to fully support our customers new and old.

This is a two way communication device, it is as much for you, our customers, as us. So please feel free to post comments about our product range.

To remind you all of what we can provide here is a brief overview with links back to our parent web site.

NTC Thermistors

SeMitec are the world’s most innovative NTC thermistor manufacturer. Many of our unique designs have now become industry standards and we set the pace that others have to follow – if they can. 1% tolerance NTCs are standard within the SeMitec range and a wide degree of inter-changeability means that your product design is not limited by mere mechanical constraints.

Thermistor Assemblies

ATC Semitec thermistor assemblies come in all shapes and sizes. From simple plastic encapsulations for air-sensing applications to sophisticated leaf-spring designs, offering precision control of surface temperatures upto 250°C. Fast response sensors utilising exposed bead NTCs or thin wall tubes, help control rapidly changing temperatures in air or fluids upto 200ºC

Bimetal Thermostats

PEPI thermostats offer both accurate temperature control and over-temperature protection from 5°C to 200°C – in one degree steps if necessary! With tolerances of ±3K and differentials of 10K or better, PEPI thermostats offer the best control/cost ratio available anywhere.

Disc Thermostats

EAW have one of the most comprehensive range of disc thermostats available. A wide temperature range, high switching capacity and multi fixing/termination options, means that we can meet the requirements of most surface and air-sensing applications.

Circuit Protection Devices

Semifuse PTC Resettable Fuses A range of polymeric PTC protectors to offer over-current protection in electronic applications. Strap, radial and SMD formats offering current values from 0.1A to 9A at voltages upto 60V. UL, CSA and TuV approvals.

Thermal Fuses

Thermal Fuses – A thermal fuse (or thermal cut-off) is a “one-shot”, non-resettable, temperature- sensitive device that provides ultimate temperature protection in safety critical circuits. They are mainly defined by their temperature setting but also by the current rating, which is the maximum continuous current that can be applied.

PTC Resettable Fuses

The Semifuse is a resettable current fuse based on conductive polymer technology. Up to its rated “hold” current value, it will pass that current continuously with no other effect on the circuit its protecting. Should a high current or high voltage occur, the Semifuse will dramatically increase its resistance (the “PTC” effect) thus limiting the through current to safe levels.

Precision Bimetal Thermostats

The Matsuo M and MQT series bimetal thermostats use a unique internal structure that offers a combination of tolerance, differential and repeatability that is un-paralleled in the industry. The twin bimetal system minimises calibration drift and ensures a long contact life from 100k – 1m cycles depending on the applied load. This makes them ideal for applications requiring long-term stability and accurate temperature control such as anti-frost applications.
